A challenging tapered plot is converted into a shop for music technology equipment, such as computer software/hardware, synthesisers and production equipment etc. My design seeks to integrate display areas, circulation space and accessibility by incorporating a series of ramps into the heart of the structure. This avoids the need for stairwells or even lifts. The top of the building acts as an office area whilst the shop floors are glass clad and open to the gaze of passers by and potential customers.
