Berney Arms Windmill

Reedham, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk

A tall marsh mill, standing at over 21 metres high and built c. 1870. Its main use was to grind a constituent of cement. It remained in use until 1948. The mill ended up driving a scoop wheel to drain surrounding marshland. My survey took place on a bright September day allowing me to safely ascend to the cap and capture some detailed photos of the mills condition.
